"I gotta fuel up!" That's how my mate Haui referred to food...and he was right to do so.
Almost everything about living in the 21st century is conducive to us getting fat; transportation takes us everywhere...even up stairs, our jobs are largely performed sat on backsides, food is processed like a product rather than nurtured by nature, restaurants serve food that is delicious but not nutritious. There are still 24 hours (23 hours 56 minutes and 4.1 seconds - to be precise) in a day, but we spend less time sleeping than previous generations due to the abundance of distractions and availability of lighting. None of this is actually any good for us...so to change the way our bodies function and look, we have to change the way we live. To change the way we live, we must first adjust our attitudes towards a few things...food being the most important.
What is food? It is just fuel...but it's become a source of fun - accessible entertainment for the masses.
